This contract relates to the purchase, delivery and installation of a setup to perform corrosion testing at increased pressure and temperature in a continuous process in a CO2 environment with impurities (e.g. H2O, O2, N2, NOx, SOx, H2S), relevant to CCUS applications. This includes at least the following elements: - Delivery, installation, validation, inspection and commissioning - All necessary training. - Electrode for corrosion research are present, and should be connectable to the setup. Dimensional drawings of the electrodes can be requested via e-mail to Arne.Simons@UGent.be The contract is divided into the following lots: • Lot 1: Explanation: A complete setup to allow the above-mentioned experiments, hence including: o Autoclave vessel + required heating/cooling o Autoclave lid with all required connection (2 electrodes, 1 reference electrode, gas inlet, gas outlet, thermocouple, digital/analog pressure sensor, safety features (rupture disk, spring loaded valve)) o All required pumps, piping and vessels o All required sensors • Lot 2: Explanation: A system compatible with the currently present autoclave to allow the above-mentioned experiments, hence including: o All required pumps, piping and vessels Lot 1 provides more flexibility to the tenderer regarding geometry and material of construction. Also, this keeps the currently existing setup intact, which will be considered during the comparison between the different proposals. On the other hand, Lot 2 offers the possibility to provide a setup at a lower cost.
